SULTANATE OF OMAN
Strategic investment partnership as the beginning of long-term cooperation
New Partnership Format: The Russian Federation and the Sultanate of Oman are advancing economic cooperation, transitioning from sectoral economic development to global leadership in the Middle East. Muscat, as a hub of diplomacy, openness, and constructive dialogue, will on 16 November 2026 serve as a bridge connecting the Middle East with countries across different continents.

On 26 August, within the framework of the International Exhibition "Russia – Oman 2026," negotiations were held with representatives of the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman. The talks focused on cooperation, expansion of business interaction in the agricultural sector, and the application of biotechnologies for the development of organic farming and land restoration (reclamation) within the industrial complex.

Taking part in the business negotiations on behalf of the Sultanate of Oman were: Mohammed Abdullah Al Zadjali – Promotion Investment Specialist at the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones of the Sultanate of Oman; Mohammad Sultan Al Kindi – Head Section of Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman; Khalid Al Rashdi – Chief Executive Officer of SOLLAM REALESTATE of the Sultanate of Oman and others.

Representing BIOTORF at the meeting were: Nagham Kabbas – Meeting Organiser and Official Representative of the company in the Middle East; Galina Kuznetsova – Project Curator; Vlada Kalinina – Company Director; Alexey Korneev – Deputy Director for International Cooperation; Oleg Izmailov – Referent with proficiency in Arabic and English.

The Company would like to express its special gratitude to the Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Oman–Russia International Exhibition, Asayil Ahmed Al-Jabri, for her demonstrated attention to the BIOTORF product, as well as for the invitation to participate in the exhibition in Muscat.

Summarising the outcomes of the meeting, it can now be stated with confidence that the efforts of the two countries are directed towards forming an Alliance of Large-Scale Developments, with a particular focus on the field of biotechnologies. The negotiations have demonstrated that the foundation of a new coordinate system can already be laid today – one in which the Sultanate of Oman, in partnership with the Russian Federation, sets the vector for environmental security and establishes a new direction in agricultural and industrial technologies for the benefit of the Middle East, Asia, and the West.
RUSSIA🤝OMAN
Agricultural Sector
The Sultanate of Oman has long been committed to a "green" development path, and in recent years this area has risen to the status of a national priority, firmly supported at the highest state level. This commitment is clearly demonstrated by the implementation of new strategic programmes, such as Vision 2040, under which agriculture is recognised as one of the key sectors defining the nation's future.

Oman's current strategic focus extends beyond mere expansion of agricultural output. It encompasses a fundamental shift in farming methodologies and a comprehensive modernisation of the entire production chain. Priority areas include: landscape greening, land reclamation and soil remediation, expansion of arable land, and the adoption of AI-driven automated farming systems.

Oman's strategy addresses not only the advancement of domestic enterprise, but also the strengthening of international engagement. Special emphasis is placed on partnership with the Russian Federation — a collaboration that unlocks new opportunities and offers broad prospects for bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial and environmental domains.

    • organisation of meetings and presentations with key agricultural sector stakeholders and potential partners.
Development Prospects
The Company's mission goes beyond the production of high-efficiency organic products — it is about fundamentally transforming the way we approach farming. The creation of a cohesive international framework for advancing organic standards offers our nations substantial long-term commercial opportunities for decades ahead. Through collaborative action, we can restore soil health and fertility — safeguarding the well-being of every individual and securing the future of our planet. Such cooperation may be structured in a range of mutually beneficial partnership models.
  • DISTRIBUTION

Entry into the Sultanate of Oman's domestic market and neighbouring GCC states, alongside access to wider export channels. The possibility of granting exclusive sales rights for specific regions may be considered, ensuring market protection and long-term commercial partnership.
  • LOCAL BRAND

Developing an Omani-branded product line using BIOTORF PASTE, with the potential to leverage the Sultanate of Oman's Special Economic Zones for manufacturing and export. This includes opportunities to formulate new products enhanced with chemical or organic additives for regional and global distribution.
  • INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

Comprehensive soil reclamation solutions, encompassing: post-oil spill restoration; rehabilitation of lands impacted by fires and other natural calamities; and the improvement of saline soils — serving as a key opportunity for expanding arable acreage.
  • SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

Opportunities for research and production initiatives, development of technologies aimed at land restoration (reclamation and remediation) in the agricultural and industrial sectors of the Sultanate of Oman.
Key Features and Distinctive Properties
  • PRESERVATION OF NATURAL STRUCTURE

The production technology preserves every microelement in its natural ("native") form, ensuring maximum biological activity. BIOTORF maintains the native structure of humic substances, guaranteeing gentle growth-stimulating effects without causing stress to plants.
  • SOIL RESTORATION

Triggers active soil restoration processes, including: proliferation of beneficial microflora, neutralisation of heavy metals (binding of heavy metal cations), and enhancement of the carbon balance. The result is a sustained improvement in soil agrochemistry and structure.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY

100% organic — does not contaminate soil or groundwater. Features prolonged action due to the humic acid structure, ensuring long-term retention in the soil. Non-toxic to soil microorganisms even at high concentrations.
  • ADAPTATION TO CHALLENGING CONDITIONS

Enables reduced irrigation without compromising crop yields. Effective for cultivating agricultural crops in challenging conditions (organic matter, including humic acid, is a classic ampholytoid capable of changing its charge sign depending on the pH of the environment and can adsorb both cations and anions).
  • LAND RECLAMATION AND CREATION OF FERTILE LAYER

Enables the creation of a new artificial fertile layer. Promotes active binding of various contaminants in the soil, demonstrating high effectiveness in land reclamation — including post-oil spill restoration, neutralisation of heavy metals, and reduction of toxic compounds.
  • HIGH BIOAVAILABILITY AND ACTIVITY

Ensures high bioavailability: aliphatic fragments and low-molecular-weight fractions are readily absorbed by plants. Demonstrates significantly higher biological activity compared to chemically processed alternatives.
Logistics and supplies
BIOTORF is exported in IBC containers (Eurocubes) as a concentrated paste (raw material), which requires dilution with a large amount of water upon delivery, significantly optimising logistics. The product is cost-effective in use. Currently, the Company's production capacity amounts to 1,500 tonnes of PASTE per month (equivalent to 7,500 tonnes of CONCENTRATE, which is diluted at 1–10% with water to obtain the working solution). The potential production capacity is unlimited. Delivery schedules and cooperation terms are negotiated individually.

A joint strategic partnership is an opportunity to join forces in creating a new standard in organic farming. The restoration of soil fertility, increased crop yields and environmental safety will become the foundation for sustainable development — not only in Oman, but throughout the entire Middle East region and beyond.

We are open to dialogue and ready to build the future together for the benefit of countries and future generations.
