Research objectives: monitoring of climatic conditions and technologies of growing vegetable crops in local conditions. The use of BIOTORF and the assessment of its effect on local vegetation and the determination of the optimal phases of plant development for the use of the drug.
The climatic conditions, in general, contribute to a long growing season and the biodiversity of crops, as well as local rainforests. On the other hand, there are high risks of flooding and soil erosion. The two main rainy seasons are from April to June and from September to December, separated by less humid periods.
Intensive chemical weathering of minerals and organic substances in the soil, a high degree of metamorphosis and desiccation, increasing the loss of essential nutrients. Organic matter accumulates in the upper layers of the soil. Rapid mineralization leads to rapid processing of carbon reserves and their reduction.
Landscape features can contribute to either increased runoff or water retention, which affects the processes of moistening and leaching of soils. Anthropogenic impact can lead to changes in soil structure and fertility, accelerating erosion and degradation of the soil cover.

The test was conducted on private land located in the city of Bata. The climatic conditions are characterized by high temperatures and high humidity levels throughout the year. Temperature fluctuations from +25°C to +30°C.
An agricultural crop relevant for export, papaya, was selected for the study. The objectives of the study are the possibility of reducing fruit ripening, increasing the number of fruits, and increasing the shelf life of fruits for transportation.
On April 16, 2024, the first treatment of plants selected for further analysis was carried out with a 1% BIOTORF solution mixed with water (99%). Further, such treatments were carried out for 6 consecutive days to saturate the plant with nutritional properties. Further spraying was carried out with a decrease in the frequency of treatment – once every 6-10 days, depending on the condition of the plants.
During the experiments, it was found that on the 6th day there was an increase in the number of ovaries of fruits, on the 31st day there was a stable increase and an increase in size, on the 45th day there was a significant difference with the control plants. The average number of fruits from one tree treated with 1% BIOTORF solution was 58-74 pieces.
Additionally, a strong coupling of the fruit with the tree was noted – there was no fruit dumping, as usually occurs in the late stages of maturation. This indicates that the tree is saturated with proper nutrition and elements, which is also confirmed by the size of the leaf plate – the leaf was increased by one and a half to two times compared with the control plants. An accelerated growth of new leaves and branches was noted, as well as an increase in the plant's resistance to the stressful effects of climatic factors. Tasting of the fruit revealed a pronounced shade, rich taste and aroma.Thus, the test results indicate that the use of BIOTORF stimulates the growth and development of plants at all stages of vegetation, increases yields on average. Complex treatment with the drug allowed to increase the yield by two to three times.
